Frequently asked questions

Is Brian's San Diego Jumpers an approved vendor for Chula Vista parks?

Yes, Brian's San Diego Jumpers is currently listed by the City of Chula Vista as an approved inflatable vendor. Park rentals with a generator start at $220, and we handle the delivery, setup, and pickup for you.

How do I get a bounce house permit for a Chula Vista park?

You must make a park reservation through the City of Chula Vista. During the process, you must disclose that you are using an approved vendor and pay the applicable permit fees. Reservations must be finalized at least 7 days before your event. We recommend booking your jumper first to ensure availability.

Can I use a bounce house at any park in Chula Vista?

No, inflatables are prohibited at some parks and specific reservation areas. Many parks have designated air jump areas (AJ-1, AJ-2, AJ-3) where the bounce house must be placed. Check with the Parks and Recreation office at (619) 409-5892 to confirm if your chosen location allows jumpers.

Does the City of Chula Vista provide power for bounce houses?

No, there is no electricity available at park gazebos for inflatable use. You must use a generator, which we provide with our park rental packages. The generator is for the inflatable only and cannot power other equipment. Additional generators are not allowed to sit on or be refueled on the grass.

Can I bring my own tables and chairs to Chula Vista parks?

Yes, customers are allowed to bring their own tables and chairs. You may also bring up to three 10x10 or smaller canopies for your event. If you need extra supplies, Brian's San Diego Jumpers can often include these with your bounce house rental to make your setup easier.
